The miracle of life and the functions of the reproductive anatomy are important topics for pre-adolescents. As physical and developmental changes occur, they need to be equipped with the facts about their reproductive organs and the creation of human life. This session is offered to parents of 5th grade students preparing for their trip to the Robert Crown Center. Parents will learn about the program goals, what the students will learn, and be able to ask questions about the program.

Helen Whalen Higher Education Scholarship Presented by the Oak Lawn-Hometown PTA Council: Each year The Oak Lawn – Hometown District 123 PTA Council awards 3 – $1,000 scholarships to D123 students who are graduating from high school. Any student who has attended a D123 school for at least 4 years, not including Kindergarten may apply.

PTSA meetings will be held in the Teacher’s Lounge at 7:00 pm on:

  • September 11th
  • October 2nd
  • November 6th
  • December 4th
  • January 8th
  • February 5th
  • March 12th

Please continue to turn in Box Tops during lunch periods.

Also, we will be looking for volunteers to help cook and serve dinner at Ronald McDonald House on the following dates, September 29th and January 8th. They can contact Darlene Yerkes at yerkes1@sbcglobal.net for further information.
